November 2019 - “Save Our Seas” - Rehearsal

Excellent rehearsal of the Elgar Cello Concerto last night with Zoe Nagle (pictured here with our conductor Keith Pascoe) assisting us by playing the solo part!

'Save Our Seas' Concert is Nov 9th, 8pm Cork City Hall, a celebration of our seas through music and advice on how we can fight to protect them from an Taisce Clean Coasts.

Christopher Marwood features as soloist for Elgar's Cello Concerto in our next concert 'Save Our Seas', in collaboration with An Taisce Clean Coasts and sponsored by Port of Cork! It takes place Nov 9th, Cork City Hall at 8pm. Conducted by Keith Pascoe, this concert in celebration of our seas and how to protect them will also feature Mezzo Soprano Raphaela Mangan for Elgar's 'Sea Pictures', Ina Boyles' 'A Sea Poem' and Debussy's epic work 'La Mer'. Mezzo Soprano Raphaela Mangan joins us as soloist in Elgar's Sea Pictures as part of our next concert 'Save Our Seas': a collaboration with An Taisce Clean Coasts, sponsored by Port of Cork, which takes place Nov 9th in Cork City Hall, 8pm! Conducted by Keith Pascoe, this concert in celebration of our seas and how to protect them will also feature Christopher Marwood as soloist for the Elgar Cello Concerto, Irish composer Ina Boyles' 'A Sea Poem' and Debussy's epic work 'La Mer'.
