Next Concert

For our forthcoming concert, the orchestra is delighted to be joining with St Fin Barre's Cathedral Choir under its director Mr. Peter Stobart for a performance of Haydn's Missa Sancti Nicolai. This is our second collaboration with the choir and we are very much looking forward to performing this beautiful piece with them in their magnificent home at St Fin Barre's Cathedral.

Our soloist for the concert is young Cork cellist Zoe Nagle. Zoe will perform Tchaikovskys's Variations on a Rococo Theme.  Following her solo debut with the New York Concerti Sinfonietta in Carnegie Hall, New York, where she performed this piece, she was praised for "soaring in the lyrical variations in a confident, highly musical performance" (The Epoch Times) 

The concert will conclude with Beethovens's exuberant and spirited second symphony in D Major.
